National Competitive Events - 2023

 

Educators Rising national competitions are performance-based competitive events in which teenage, aspiring teachers demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and leadership in education. With a blend of individual and team events, competitions are authentic, engaging opportunities for rising educators to stretch their creativity, commitment, and professionalism. 

 

There are two levels of competition:

  • High School Junior Varsity level - Grades 9, 10

  • High School Varsity level - Grades 11, 12

Competitions

  • Score against a rubric and compare performances of each student against their Peer

  • Only the top 10 places are recognized on a PowerPoint. Only the top 3 receive medals or trophies on stage

    • Medals are awarded for individual or dual competitions

    • Trophies are awarded for team competitions

  • Score against a rubric of excellence for a total score

  • Top 3 scores receive medals or trophies

  • Can have multiple students who receive the top scores

Interactive Bulletin Board (individual or dual)

Project Visualize Service Project (individual or dual)

Teacher Created Materials (individual or dual)
