are due by March 5, 2021
Conference Registration
Registration (students, teacher leaders, chaperones, guests): $65
T-shirt Add-on - $10
All awards, banners, certificates and medals will be sent to each chapter after closing ceremony.
All scholarship winners must complete this form no later than April 14, 2021
Late registrations after February 26, 2021 will be accepted
for a late fee of $50 per chapter until March 5, 2021
No registrations, changes to registrations, substitutions or cancellations
will be accepted after March 5, 2021.
*The SLC Registration Sheet must be completed and uploaded with your registration form.
Arizona Qualifications

A student can only participate in two (2) competitive events total at SLC. This can be either two individual events, two team events, or one individual and one team event.

A chapter can have no more than three (3) entries total per event. This can be either three (3) Varsity entries, three (3) JV entries or a combination of three (3) varying level entries.

The top ten (10) places in each event at SLC will qualify to compete at Nationals.

Only two (2) students from a chapter can advance to Nationals per individual event per division.

Only one (1) TEAM from a chapter can advance to Nationals per team event per division.
National Qualifications
GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS NOTE: General rules and regulations apply to all competitive events and are in addition to each event’s specific guidelines.

Students must be a paid Active-level student member of Educators Rising no later than February 1 of the year in which they are competing.

Students may enter up to a total of two events. This can be either two individual events, two team events, or one individual and one team event.

Teacher leaders may enter up to two (2) students per school in each individual event per division and one (1) team for team events per division.

All team events must have at least two students (and no more than four) per school to qualify.

For teams consisting of students of varying grade levels, the team will be placed in the division for the grade level of the most senior member.
Scenario

If you have 3 total students to enter Public Speaking at SLC and one is 12th grade and two students are in 10th grade, you would register all 3 for Arizona SLC and then if they all qualify for Nationals, you will enter your 12th grader in the Varsity level and your 2 tenth graders in the JV division for Nationals.

If you had all 12th graders compete at Arizona SLC and they all 3 qualified, you would have to pick two to go onto Nationals to compete because only two per event per division would be able to enter.
